Thomas Clifford was my Great Uncle Tom, my Grandmothers Half Brother Decorated for his involvement in the Battle of Jutland.
He was on a ship called HMS Fortune, which was shelled and sunk by a German ship called Westfallen.

My Uncle Tom was one of the few survivors.
It says in the report that the Fortune sank still firing it’s guns as it disappeared beneath the waves.
