Eventual Fate
Sunk 31.05.1916
Jutland result
Lost contact with Warrior and Defence when the latter broke through the battle-cruiser line which was crossing west to east to get to the van position. Engaged Rheinland 23:35 scoring two 6" shell hits (Wiki 270). Sunk from gunfire from Nassau, Ostfriesland and Friedrich der Größe after Thüringen's searchlights pick her out. The Germans were around 750-1,500 yards distant when shelling started. Both her funnels had been shot away making her identification by HMS Spitfire later in the night difficult.
