The muzzle blast of the super turrets caused problems for the lower turrets as blast would often enter through the sighting hoods. Co-incidence rangefinders (5 located in turrets and 2 in the spotting top). 13,5" gun weighed 70 tons EACH barrel and measured 52 feet.
